About

For you. From you.

The “Be In Boston, Stay In Boston” campaign is the result of a semester-long project undertaken by Emmanuel students in Associate Professor of Communications & Media Studies Mark Flynn’s “ENGL3806: Health Communications” course during the fall 2020 semester. As part of this project, students were tasked with developing concepts for a health and awareness campaign for the Emmanuel community as the College prepared to return to living and learning on campus for spring 2021.

In addition to students from Dr. Flynn’s Health Communications class, a steering committee made up of students and staff members representing departments and organizations across campus was established to help facilitate the campaign launch. A special thank you to the members of the steering committee who collaborated over winter break to ensure the campaign’s successful launch.

Committee Members: Keaton Bergeron ’21, Dan Campagna, Maureen Dobrowsky, Tracey Clingingsmith, Jahmil Effend, Diana Estime, Emily Geary ’21, Patrick Hagan, Rachel Phalen ’21,  Jonathan Jaszek, Kelley Kazorek ’23, Colby Lima ’21, Fillette Lovaincy, Bryan Mahoney, Luchiano Montero ’21, Sarah Muscarella, Liam Rice, Danielle Rose, Amy Stewart, Andrea Thomas, Adam Zapotok
